Cycles @ Work: Summer Workshop

Join the next workshop in our 2025 energy management series.

In the next installment of our 2025 series on the wisdom of each season, you’re invited to discover how to partner with summer–and the peak moments of all natural and creative cycles–for greater well-being, energy and impact in your changemaking efforts.

Our culture is *obsessed* with summer.

The infatuation is understandable: it’s sunny, expansive, growth-filled and “productive” according to the narrow definition we’ve inherited.

But the result of this “perpetual summer” pattern is that both we and our planet are in a vicious cycle of burnout that keeps us stuck in an unsustainable status quo.

In this interactive workshop, we’ll look to nature to challenge our cultural assumptions about this season and its counterparts in other cycles. Then, we’ll learn how to build a new, balanced relationship with the big energy phases of any cycle, so that you can access greater flow, ease and JOY as you work to create systemic change.

By the end of the session, you can expect to have a deep understanding of “summer energy” and how it shows up in your work + life, and practical nature-based insights and strategies to support your personal sustainability year-round.

WHO IT’S FOR

This workshop is for you if you identify as a woman or non-binary individual and want to:

  • Break personal + cultural cycles of burnout

  • Build resilience for the challenges of our time

  • Skillfully manage your energy with strategies designed for changemakers

  • Improve your well-being at work + home

  • Feel less alone in working to leave the world better than you found it

  • Align how you work + lead with the future you’re trying to create

If you have a group of 3 or more friends or colleagues that would like to attend together, please email hello@sisterseasons.com for a group discount.

WHAT TO EXPECT

This 90-minute virtual workshop will include a mix of interactive presentation, guided activity, and optional group sharing.

Depending on the group size, we may do brief (optional) breakout groups given that this is the season of connection and self-expression. I solemnly promise these will be introvert-friendly and that you will meet the nicest people!

While this is part of our 2025 seasonal series on energy management, no prior knowledge or experience (or menstrual cycle) is necessary to benefit from the workshop.

[NEW] ADD-ON SUPPORT

If you choose to add a 60-minute 1:1 integration session to your experience, you’ll also receive personalized support to apply your new learnings to your work and life.

This might look like talking through the challenges of your unique situation, and/or co-designing an experiment for the season ahead to implement new energy management strategies.

Expect an email in advance of the workshop with an invitation to book your 1:1 and additional guidance for making the most of your session. All 1:1’s must be completed within 60 days of the live workshop date.
