Reimagining Leadership

A 4-month program to re-envision your impact leadership beyond the status quo

JOIN THE WAITLIST

Leadership isn’t working for all of us.

You’re not alone if the idea of leadership isn’t very appealing right now–even when it’s focused on positive impact.

Perhaps you’re looking at the leadership path you thought you wanted and thinking, “What am I going to have to sacrifice to pursue that?” or “Maybe it’s just not for me.” Or you’re in a leadership role already and wondering, “How long can I sustain this?”

Yet your journey has always been more about making a difference than getting ahead.

You have a deep desire to be a part of helping our world move toward collective flourishing, and an unwavering knowing that we desperately need leaders like you. People who are thoughtful, collaborative, committed to the well-being of our planet and communities–and with years of experience and expertise to share.

What if you could feel inspired and hopeful about leadership again–including your own?

Our culture overwhelmingly rewards one type of leadership, so it’s no surprise if you’ve been feeling pressured to conform or get out of the way.

But there are as many different ways to be a leader as there are people on our planet.

And since the leadership practices that created the crises we face can’t solve them, it’s time to explore what else is possible–so that your leadership can feel as life-giving as the impact you hope to make through it.

Root your leadership in nature’s wisdom.

Reimagining Leadership is a 4-month nature-inspired program for women and non-binary changemakers who want to re-envision leadership, starting with their own.

Through the program, you’ll reimagine your leadership with support from our four core components:

01. Circle principles–adapted from The Circle Way–that provide a firsthand experience of a “power with” (rather than a “power over”) leadership model and a new tool in your toolkit

02. Thought-provoking resources–drawn from ecology, systems thinking, The Work That Reconnects and more–to help challenge assumptions and illuminate your authentic leadership values

03. Accessible self-guided practices that connect you with nature and your inner wisdom to cultivate self-trust and provide ongoing insights into your biggest leadership challenges

04. Collaborative inquiry–either in community or 1:1 with Rebecca depending on the track you choose–to co-sense new pathways and support you in your inquiries

At its heart, this program is about self-discovery, skill development and relationship-building, so you can find greater clarity in your personal expression of leadership and feel resourced to thrive as you step into it.

Whether you choose to go through the program as part of a peer community or on your own schedule with the 1:1 track, you’ll be supported at each step to know you’re not alone and that so much more is possible.

This is not about job titles.

Leadership is so much more than a role we’re assigned.

It’s the stewardship of something larger than ourselves–such as a vision, idea, place or community. It’s what galvanizes movements but also shows up in our small, everyday actions that reflect our deepest values. And because it comes from within, we can embody it regardless of our job.

But many of us have also been harmed by our leadership experiences.

So it’s ok if you don’t love the word “leader”. In fact, you’re in the right place if you’re:

➜ Questioning if you want to be a leader based on current or past experiences

➜ Actively opting out of leadership paths because of what you believe it would require you to do or give up

➜ Currently in a leadership role but wondering how long you can keep going

This program won’t try to convince you to embrace leadership. Instead, it’ll gently invite you to widen your perspective, reignite your curiosity, and start getting clear on what being a leader actually means to you.

Through Reimagining Leadership, you’ll:

  • Renew your curiosity and creativity about what’s possible through leadership

  • Discover regenerative leadership approaches

  • Illuminate your unique leadership through insights from nature and your intuition

  • Cultivate essential skills for leading on a changing planet—including presence, self-trust, and comfort with uncertainty

  • Access practical tools and highly curated resources that provide ongoing inspiration

  • Deepen your relationship with nature and your inner wisdom to guide you in daily life as a leader

  • Join a circle of women and non-binary peers to navigate the challenges with you

Expect a transformative journey guided by…

Active learning

The heart of the program is our live calls: 9 sessions for group cohort participants or 6 sessions for individuals on the 1:1 track. These calls are where our deepest work happens. So rather than sitting back and listening, expect to participate in active, guided conversation that makes space for you to bring in your unique wisdom and explore what’s true for you.

Thoughtful curation

You don’t have time for long lists of resources or access to “bonus” recordings you’ll never watch, so you won’t find them here. Instead, you’ll receive highly curated pre-work drops in Week 1 of each module that include resources and activities that directly relate to what we’ll discuss in our live calls. And, of course, we’ll swap favorite books and podcast episodes, but trust that in this program: less is more.

Intentional design

Your time is precious, so you’ll never be asked to spend more than 2 hours/week on the program–including call participation. Here’s how this breaks down: The program consists of 5 modules each lasting 3 weeks. Week 1 is always solo pre-work (<90 min), while Weeks 2 + 3 are reserved for live calls. You’ll also spend 10-20 minutes weekly engaging in a self-guided writing practice.

Meaningful connection

We believe growth happens most effectively and enjoyably in relationship. Sure, you can go it alone, but why make it harder than it has to be? All participants receive gentle accountability and support from Rebecca and guided exercises to build their relationship with nature. Group participants also connect with a cohort of impact-driven peers in diverse roles–including mid-career professionals, senior leaders, entrepreneurs, and experienced folks searching for their next chapter.

Here’s a peek at our path:

  • Your experience begins with getting oriented to the program and getting to know each other, so that you have strong roots to anchor and support you throughout your program.

You’ll also learn two of the core tools that will both form our foundations and build your leadership toolkit: The Circle Way, a way of gathering that will provide structure to our group conversations, and Carrying The Question, a cycle-aware writing practice you’ll do weekly to find insights to your biggest leadership questions.

  • Before we can open up to new possibilities, we have to look at what is. In this module, you’ll be guided to look at the current leadership paradigm with fresh eyes and identify what you want to take with you and what you’re ready to leave behind. Guided by the Work That Reconnects, you’ll receive space to acknowledge what your experience with leadership has been, and resources to make sense of it.

  • Now that you’re rooted, you’ll move from asking “what has been” to “what could be” as you look to the natural world for what it can teach you about leadership. You’ll receive thought-provoking, highly curated resources to help you explore new possibilities for leadership and what feels true for you.

Since exploration without embodiment can feel overwhelming, you’ll keep returning to yourself and your unique path through bite-sized nature exercises, your weekly Carrying The Question practice, and guided conversation + activities to integrate your new knowledge.

  • In this module, you’ll continue to expand into new possibilities as we zoom in to look to the body as a specific example of nature to discover how it works, what makes for effective leadership, and how we might lead in these complex times.

Like Module 3, expect to ask big questions, challenge your assumptions, and gather clues for your unique expression of leadership–all while anchoring into nature and your body.

  • Weave your learnings into a north star that will provide ongoing clarity and support for your leadership through thoughtful self-guided activities. Group participants will receive a generous group closing session and 45-minute 1:1 integration call to help you root into your new vision of leadership and identify your next steps as you go forward. For participants on the 1:1 track, expect an extra special final 1:1 session with plenty of time to get support for what’s ahead.

This program is for you if you’re:

  • Non-binary or woman identifying

  • Committed to addressing the systemic crises we’re facing–regardless of your current role

  • Feeling turned off by or considering opting out of leadership due to what it seems to require

  • Ready to write a new definition of leadership that feels exciting and impactful to you

  • Curious to explore what leadership is needed in this challenging time on our planet

  • Craving practical tools, resources and nature-based inspiration to guide your explorations and spark fresh ideas to bring to your team

  • Wanting deeper connection with peers, nature + your inner wisdom to support you in your leadership

This program is not for you if:

  • You’re at the very start of your career or activism

  • You’re seeking someone to tell you what leadership is, rather than discovering what it uniquely means to you

  • Your desires for leadership are not related to improving the well-being of communities or our planet

  • You want immediate action, rather than self-discovery and skill-building

  • You prefer to listen and engage passively, rather than actively participate in conversation

  • You don’t feel a call to leadership in any form

  • (Group only) You can’t commit to joining at least 7 of the calls live. Participation in the live calls is essential not only to your own experience, but the experience of the cohort too.

This program won’t make you a leader.

That’s because you already are one. Yep, contrary to what we’ve been told, we’re all leaders in our own unique ways.

So instead of helping you “become” a leader, this program will provide you with expansive inspiration, practical tools and deep support to discover what being a leader actually means to you and how you’d like to express it.

Rebecca Magee (She/Her)

Hi, I’m Rebecca! A fellow changemaker with an unwavering commitment to leaving our planet better than I found it.

Before beginning my entrepreneurial journey in 2020, I worked for 12+ years in environmental sustainability, social impact, and philanthropy at visionary organizations such as Echoing Green and EILEEN FISHER. During that time, I created transformative learning experiences for social impact leaders around the world, guided communities of women through life-changing retreats and peer groups, led impact initiatives from B Corp certifications to ground-breaking grant programs, and so much more.

Today, I’m an Atlanta-based teacher, facilitator, experience designer and the founder of Sister Seasons, a mission-driven business where I help my fellow changemakers work with nature’s cycles to build the skills to be thriving, regenerative leaders. My work is informed greatly by systems thinking, deep ecology, mindfulness, my studies in women’s leadership and health, intersectional feminist values, and my own experience trying to figure out how to make a positive impact in ways that are personally sustainable and aligned with the just, regenerative world I want to bring to life.

FAQs

  • The 1:1 experience was piloted in Spring 2025 (to great success!!) following feedback that some leaders would love to join the program but simply can’t make group calls at a set time.

This new option provides a way to access the core program experience but with greater flexibility around call times.

In addition, you might prefer the 1:1 experience if:

    • You’re craving a more inward-focused, reflective experience

    • You want dedicated time to help you work through your specific challenges + questions

    • You have less time to devote to this program (The total amount of time you’ll spend on calls is half that of the group experience as they’re more focused)

While your program experience won’t include relationship building with peers through group calls or the asynchronous chat, you can expect future invitations to connect with fellow Reimagining Leadership alumni.

  • Program participants are women and non-binary professionals representing diverse roles and functions who work in corporates, startups, small businesses and nonprofits. Yet they share a common desire to create a positive impact on people and planet through their career or activism. In the past, participants have included seasoned leaders, mid-career professionals, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and experienced folks searching for their next role.

  • If you made it this far, the answer is likely yes. I’ve received excellent feedback from seasoned leaders who’ve participated.

Here are a few scenarios where it could be a great fit:

    • You want to upskill to lead on a rapidly changing planet

    • You’re seeking inspiration and support in your leadership

    • You’re feeling like you’re not able to be yourself as a leader or that you’ve had to give up more than you are willing to for this role

    • You’re wanting to better support your team members who may have hesitations about their own leadership–especially if you’re seeing primarily women or gender-diverse folks in your organization opting out of leadership advancement

  • Program dates for our next round will be announced in early 2027. Join the waitlist to be notified.

  • The program is designed to require no more than 2 hrs/wk during our 4 months together. Here’s how this breaks down:

    • Each Each week, you’ll spend 10-20 min doing a cycle-aware writing practice I’ll teach in Mod. 1

    • Depending on the module week, you’ll either spend 60-90 minutes completing the pre-work (Week 1 of each module) OR participate in a live call (Weeks 2 + 3 of each module for group cohort participants; Weeks 2 or 3 for 1:1 participants–your choice.)

    • At the end of the program, group cohort participants will also have a 45-min 1:1 integration session you can schedule during a time that works for you.

Additional time may be spent engaging with fellow participants in an asynchronous chat group or diving into additional resources, but this will be up to you.

  • While it’s understandable that you may need to miss a call or two when life happens (and in which case, you’ll receive a recording), your participation in the live calls is essential not only to your own experience, but the experience of the cohort too. Our live calls are the heart of the program, and the majority of learning happens in dynamic conversation with your fellow participants. If you already know that you won’t be able to attend at least 7 of the calls live, I encourage you to consider the 1:1 track or join a future cohort.

  • Nope! In fact, I anticipate that nearly all applications will be accepted, which is why you’ll want to make sure to register as soon as you receive the registration link, so that you can secure your spot.

The intention behind the application process is to make sure everyone who joins is clear about the program expectations and has the potential to benefit from the program. This helps me ensure you and the whole cohort have the best experience possible.

  • If you see what is happening on our planet and deeply want to be part of the solution, you’re a changemaker. This may express itself through your career, activism or wherever your time and energy is going–regardless of whether it’s paid or unpaid. If you’ve read this far and resonate with everything I’ve shared on this page, please apply! Or book a discovery call and let’s get your questions answered.

  • Yes! Reimagining Leadership is available to organizations year-round and suitable for employees of all genders and levels, from emerging to established leaders. To explore how it can support your group, email hello@sisterseasons.com.

  • Yes! We have automated captioning enabled for all live sessions and include captioning for session replays. If there’s anything else we can do to support your participation, please contact hello@sisterseasons.com.

We reserve the right to immediately remove any participant from the program without refund for any behavior we deem to be unsafe, harmful, or disruptive to other participants.

Imagine if leadership could feel really good.

Yep, it’s possible. Yet it can be really hard to imagine when all we’ve ever experienced is, well, the opposite. But if you’re ready to gently explore this possibility with a little help from nature and your inner wisdom, so that you can show up for yourself AND our world, this program is for you.

Let's reimagine together
